Unique Concepts is a restaurant group created by Chef Nina Festekjian and her husband Raffi Festekjian. They have founded and lead restaurants throughout the city of Boston whose collective vision is to create unique hospitality experiences that surprise and delight their customers everyday. Unique Concepts is a rare gem in the Boston culinary scene. The cuisine is inspired by locally sourced ingredients, where the highest quality products serve as the stars of each dish. My husband and I love the Armenian Lebanese food of our childhood. The fresh, balanced ingredients and complex flavors of the Eastern Mediterranean are so healthy and satisfying. We were always on the hunt for a local restaurant that captured the tradition and comfort of this food.

So, after years of searching and cooking for loved ones, we decided to launch anoush’ella, to introduce to you the irresistible Eastern Mediterranean street food flavors we love, in a casual neighborhood eatery.

Our name “anoush’ella” means MAY IT BE SWEET. It’s an expression of the love, pride and enjoyment that goes into serving someone who enjoys your food and thanks you. Our name reflects our belief that part of the joy of living lies within the food we eat and share with loved ones. We believe when food is prepared with passion and love as the key ingredients, it awakens the palate, enriches the mind and satisfies the soul. We simply want to share this with you and provide an unforgettable dining experience.

Aleks Bakhrakh has been a prominent member of Unique Concepts since 2016. Aleks Bahrakh is a motivated and passionate General Manager, always looking for new challenges and opportunities. In addition, he is a true culinary professional. With a deep love for food, Aleks has put his hardest efforts into making Unique Concepts' day-to-day process work smoothly. Aleks has 20 years of experience working for businesses focused around event organizing and restaurant management.

Anoush'ella menu is based on the traditional recipes found in every Armenian household. Many items begin with our delicious m’anoush (man. oÍžo.sh) flatbread, prepared to order on a traditional convex griddled called Saj which cooks the bread in just under two minutes. The m’anoush is then hand-rolled around fresh, authentic ingredients or scattered with savory or sweet toppings. At anoush’ella we are proud to serve time honored dishes with the freshest ingredients and a comfortable, yet contemporary dining experience. Most importantly, every order is prepared and served with love.

Hum’oveh is a vibrant new concept combining the flavors of the Middle East with the highest-quality, freshest ingredients. Inspired by Middle Eastern street food, mouthwatering stuffed flatbreads take centerstage at Hum’oveh alongside hearty entrée platters. Grilled to crispy perfection and loaded with savory fillings like spiced beef, marinated chicken, or feta and spinach, Hum’oveh’s “M’Anoush” sandwiches pack a satisfying punch.

Inspired by the beautiful flavors, ingredients and time-honored culinary traditions of Southeast Asia, Vietnam and Korea, Kutzu is a noodle-centric concept featuring enriching Pho-Men bowls, as well as signature Bibimbap, Banh Mi sandwiches, salads, daily squeezed lemonades, and much more. Kutzu’s Pho-Men bowls marry the sweet subtleties of Pho with the smokiness of Ramen.
